City Warriors and Imtiaz Construction (Shaikhani) went against each other on 15th August at Abbasi Ground.
Mohsin Meghani and Qazafi opened the innings for City Warriors. While Meghani got out on a duck, Qazafi managed to score 26 runs, hitting 2 fours. Qazafi remained the highest scorer of the innings, as the other batsmen failed to score higher runs. The batting efforts remained quite sloppy. However, the bowlers from Shaikhani dominated. They dismissed 9 wickets, with Khurram Ahmed bagging 3 wickets. Warriors posted a low-scoring target of 108 runs.
Shaikhani’s openers Shahzaib Dyer and Adnan Abdul Aziz started the chase. However, Dyer got out on a duck and Aziz got out on 2 runs only. The one-down batsman, Saad Altaf, got out on a duck. Fayyaz Hussain Warsi stabilized the innings scoring 20 off 18. In addition to this, Sadiq Suriya smashed 31 runs, hitting 2 fours and 1 six and remaining not out. Dayyan Arshad, Farhan, and Ahsan bagged 2 wickets each.
As a result, Shaikhani chased the target and won the match by 2 wickets.
