Incredible Adeel Shines in ICT’s Victory

Dawson Stars Vs ICT

Dawson Stars batted first and were off to a shaky start as they lost Aashir Ahmed for just 8 runs. Ameen and Mohammad Ali then got together and scored a very useful partnership. However, Ameen could not capitalize on his start and was dismissed for 17 off 16 balls. Muhammad Ali on the other hand, kept on going and smashed the bowlers to all parts of the ground. He was in flawless hitting form and played one of his finest innings. He smashed 87 off 53 balls with 7 fours and 3 sixes. He gave a perfect opportunity to the lower order batsmen to come and score some quick runs and that’s what Daniyal Ali did in the dying stages of the innings with his knock of 33 off just 14 balls to end the innings on a high. ICT bowlers Hunain Usman and Rafay Malik picked up 2 wickets each. Dawson Stars managed to score 184 in their 20 overs.

The chase turned out to be a one sided affair It was a big score to chase but the ICT batsmen made it into a modest one with their style of play. Even though, Talha was out early for 9, ICT never looked back and the duo of Adeel Khan and Obaid Khan shut each door for Dawson Stars to come back in the game. Obaid scored 52 off just 35 balls with 6 fours and 1 six whereas Adeel scored 83 off just 35 balls with 5 fours and 9 sixes. Dawson's bowlers were helpless against the onslaught, unable to pick wickets when required. With a victory already set up, Ibaad Khan’s 31 ensured that ICT chased down the target without any hiccups.

ICT won by 7 wickets in 16.3 overs
