Aga Khan Gymkhana Vs Tanishq Gold CC
Friendly Fixture
Aga Khan batted first and were off to a brilliant start as their openers, Saud and Malik were in scintillating touch. They both struck the ball cleanly and were on top of their game, Tanishq had no answer to the onslaught. Saud scored 77 off 50 balls with 7 fours and 6 sixes whereas Malik Ali was also not far behind as he scored 70 off 54 with 6 fours and 2 sixes. The openers gave a perfect start to their side, and the platform was set for the middle order to take advantage of but it was not the case as Tanishq Gold came back strongly and picked up cheap wickets with Shehzad leading the way as he picked up 3 wickets whereas Fahad picked up 2. The end was not an ideal one for Aga Khan and in the end, they scored 191.
Even after not getting a perfect end, Aga Khan was confident of defending the target but they were dealing with some quality players in the opposition and they had to be watchful of that. Aga Khan picked up Mirza early in the innings for just 1, but the other opener, Fauz ul Hassan stole the show with his majestic hitting. He was unstoppable and single handedly won his side the game, he scored a brilliant 104 off just 49 balls with 10 fours and 6 mighty sixes, the bowlers were clueless against him and he took liking against all of them. He was well supported by another brilliant player, Fahad Jabbar who scored 54 off just 42 balls with 7 fours. Aga Khan in the second innings never came close to victory as Tanishq Gold won comfortably by 7 wickets.
