CDC v All Greens
CDC played All Greens at Aga Khan Gymkhana ground. CDC batted first and lost 4 quick wickets of Alam, Waqas, Matloob and Keith. Faizan with 65 and Atif with 23 gave some semblance of stability to the batting line up along with Umair could manage 14 runs but none of the other batsmen contributed much to the total. CDC were lucky that All Greens bowlers conceded 26 extras which enabled them to end at 166 all out in 20 overs, a score which for this ground and its pitch suited to batting, seemed to be on the lower side. For All Greens, Saad and Farrukh got 3 wickets each while Sahib, Zaib and Asim got 1 wicket each.
In reply, All Greens lost Zaib and Jibran early but Irteza Khan carried his bat and scored a magnificent century as he got 107 runs not out off just 50 balls at a strike rate of 214% and his innings included 18 boundaries and 2 sixes. Imran with 28 not out was at the crease as All Greens chased down the total in 14.5 overs for loss of just 3 wickets, For CDC, Waqas got 2 wickets and Alam got 1 wicket.
All Greens won by 7 wickets.
