What a start for Benitoz Panthers, batting first, they lost star opener Madni Waqas for duck! His partner Israr Ul Haq however decimated the bowling line up with an explosive knock of 73 runs which included 7 boundaries and 2 maximums. The rest of the team chipped in with minor contributions with Tabish and Saad Ahmed scoring cameos of 30 and 25 runs respectively. Muhammad Ali was the pick of the bowlers, picking up 2 wickets while Asad Bashir, Asad Inayat, Raza Zaidi and Huzaifa Siraj picked up a wicket each. Benitoz Panthers set a target of 184 runs in 20 overs.
Extras had a rough day out with bat. The team struggled throughout the innings unable to really get going at any stage. Umer Chawla ripped through the opposition, picking up 3 wickets while Israr ul Haq picked up 2 wickets to cause further damage. Bilal Hayat was the only player to show some resistance with a fighting knock of 41 runs but it wasn't enough to get his team over the line. Zeeshan Khan, Muhammad Ali and Muhammad Huzaifa all contributed cameos in their twenties. Extras were limited to 155 runs in 20 overs.
