Jojis went head to head with Garden Kings XI at Hill Park this past Sunday. Batting first, Jojis were unstoppable with opener Faizan smashing an impressive 89 off just 31 balls to get the momentum rolling for his side. One down Shariq also knocked a cameo of 26 runs before the team began to falter. The remaining batsmen were dismissed cheaply with the exception of Jawed Joji who scored 15 runs. Kings bowlers were able to pull back the opposition with Abdullah Abdul Majeed leading the attack with an impressive 4 wickets followed by Rameez Aziz's 3 wicket haul. Jojis were eventually all out for 198 in 19.2 overs.
Nothing seemed to go right for Garden Kings XI in their chase. 10 of their batsmen were dismissed in single digits as the Jojis bowlers showed no mercy. Muhammad Asad was the lone batsmen who scored 11 runs. The bowlers were exceptionally disciplined, taking wickets when required and refusing to give anything away. Muhammad Rizwan and Adeel Ahmed took 3 wickets each with Nawaz Akbar taking 2 and Abdul Rafay and Jawed Joji taking a wicket each. Garden Kings XI were bowled out for 74 in 11.5 overs.
Jojis won by 124 runs.
