Bank Islami batted first and was off to a decent start with their opening pair. Rizwan Hussain scored 17 runs and Shafqat Hussain Shafi supported his run and scored 28 runs. Nadir Ansari and Wasim Ali carried another great partnership by scoring a total of 60 runs. The bowlers did a good job to stop the opposition from scoring big runs. Zulfiqar took 3 wickets and Tariq took 2 wickets. By the end of 20 overs, Bank Islami had scored a total of 143 runs.
JS Bank was in for a thrilling chase and their opening pair proved it to be. Taimoor Ali and Zulfiqar scored big runs for the team and gave a good head start to the chase. They scored 15 and 43 runs respectively after which Noman Ikram brought his team closer to victory with his knock of 32 runs. Fahad Jafri placed his team in the safe area of the game by scoring 38 runs and soon after his dismissal Tariq and Tauqeer finished the game by scoring 5 runs and easily chased the target in 17 overs.
