Takaful Pakistan Limited batted first were off to an average start as they did not lose too much wickets in the start but the flow of runs was also not up to the mark. Batsmen came in & got their starts but were unable to convert their innings into a high scoring one. Rameez Mehboob was the top scorer scoring 32 runs off 35 deliveries. Junaid Ansari lead the bowling attack, he was unplayable & he picked up 5 wickets gin his 4 overs. Salaam Takaful were bowled out for 144 runs in 20 overs.
Jubilee Life Insurance came in to chase this target & were off to a dreadful start as their top order collapsed & the pressure was on the batsmen. The bowlers were not allowing the batsmen to score easy runs & were capitalizing on any mistake made by the batsmen. Batsmen were able to stop the flow of wickets momentarily but were unable to score runs. Asim Farooq scored a valiant 44 runs but they were not enough as Jubilee Life Insurance were restricted on 130 runs for the fall of 7 wickets in their 20 overs. Umair Ali picked up 3 wickets & Sarim khan bowled an economical spell also picking up a couple of wickets for his side.
