ZamZam Sports v Titans CC
ZamZam Sports faced Titans CC as part of the KK Champions Trophy. ZamZam Sports batted first and what a start they had! Openers Kamran Rehman and Farhan Sheikh were outstanding with the bat, with Kamran scoring a century for his side and see his team all through the innings with 100 not out. Farhan kept the momentum going with his fiery 52 run knock that came off just 27 balls. Titans bowlers were unable to break the momentum effectively with only Ieman Ul Haq showing intent, picking up 2 wickets in his spell. ZamZam Sports ended at a mammoth 213 for 3 in 20 overs.
Titans CC had their work cut out for them and were off to the worst start. The team were reeling at 1 for 2 before Ieman Ul Haq and Fahad Shah stepped in to save their side. The pair fought against a lethal bowling attack, contributing 91 and 45 runs respectively to give their team a chance to win the game. However once the pair were dismissed, none of the remaining batsmen were able to contribute runs to keep the chase alive. Abdul Shakoor and Shahid Mukthar starred with the ball, picking up 2 wickets each for their side. Titans CC were limited to 167 runs in 20 overs.
ZamZam Sports won by 46 runs.
