Karachi Club v Bubbers
Karachi Club played Bubbers at IBA cricket ground as part of the 2nd ACM Night t20 League. Karachi Club batted first and were struggling at 16 for 2 as Rameez and Taha got out early. Faisal Butt and Aamir Motiwala had a 59 run partnership before Faisal was dismissed after having scored 45 runs off 36 balls. Aamir Motiwala continued scoring briskly and played an anchor role with 60 runs not out off 42 balls but it was Adeel Abbasi who upped the ante by scoring 72 runs not out off just 31 balls and his innings included 10 boundaries and four sixes. The innings ended with Karachi Club scoring 202 runs for the loss of just 3 wickets in 20 overs. For Bubbers, Rashid , Arhum and Atif got a wicket each.
The reply from Bubbers was rather subdued and the match became one sided as Bubbers struggled from the start and kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Asad Jafri was the top scorer with 34 runs while Atif got 17 and Shamas 14 runs and Bubbers were all out for just 113 runs. For Karachi Club, Salman Rafiq Dossani got 3 wickets for just 7 runs while Umair, Rizwan, Khurrum and A Wahab got a wicket each.
Karachi Club won by 89 runs.
