Karachi Defenders batted first against Karachi All Stars at SKBZ cricket ground. Openers Faraz and Agha Mohammad were in form and on fire posting totals of 26 and a very valuable 53 to get their team off to a flying start. One down Abdullah Umar kept the momentum going with his knock of 34 and Sami also chipped in with 32. After that however wickets fell in quick succession with All Stars bowlers trying to hard to pull the game back in their favour. Ammar was the key wicket taker for their side with 2 wickets. Karachi Defenders ended at 188 for 9 in 20 overs.
In response, Karachi All Stars seemed to get off to some decent starts but could not carry their side over the line. Sheriyar Niazi's 39 and Salman Quavi's 33 runs were the two key knocks of the game but neither player could build on the foundation set. Mohaimin did well to limit the opposition picking up 2 wickets with the rest of the bowling line up chipping in to restrict Karachi All Stars to 163 for 7 in 20 overs.
Karachi Defenders won by 25 runs.
