Karachi Demons won by nine wickets against the SKY Hawks, at the Hill Park this past Sunday.
SKY Hawks batted first and thanks to some impressive performances from Abdul Mussawir (35 from 15), Saad Razzak (28 from 22), Madni Bawany (24 from 20) and Rameez Hassan (27 from 19) the team made a competitive total of 160 in 20 overs for the loss of six wickets. Shayan Nepal and Idrees Amin took two wickets each while Umair Adamjee and Owais Arif Sultanpur took one wicket each.
The Karachi Demons were able to chase the total quite easily thanks to an outstanding innings by Rameez Mehboob who made 132 from just 65 balls while remaining not out to earn his team the victory. They chased the target in 14.2 overs for the loss of one wicket. Kashif Khan took the wicket for SKY Hawks.
