Karachi Fighters went out to bat first and were off to a blistering start. The openers were in fine hitting form and they smashed the bowlers all around the park. Kamran Hasan Khan scored a quick 42 off just 32 balls with 3 fours and a big six. Adnan on the other hand, carried his bat throughout the innings and smashed 76 off 62 balls with 7 fours and 1 six. After them, no one really could create an impact with the bat and they lost track. From the bowlers, Waseem and Musaddiq picked up 2 wickets each and kept the scorecard on check. In the end, Karachi Fighters managed to score 163 in their allotted 20 overs.
The chase was off to a good start, the openers were looking in good touch but they were dismissed just when they were looking settled. Burhaan scored 10 whereas Zohaib scored 20 off 17 balls with 3 fours. The innings then was carried forward by Ghazanfer Baloch and Wasiq who scored 15 and 21 respectively. Muhammad Waseem then propelled the score forward and contributed with 23 runs. The problem with the chase was that Rebels CC batsmen were getting starts but no one could really take the game away. Farhaan Ismail in the lower order and played a fine hand to give his side some hope. He smashed 44 off 24 balls but it was not enough as Rebels fell short by 12 runs.
