Karachi Patriots with an outstanding all round performance, annihilated the Super Daddy Cricket Club by defending a massive total.
The first innings was off to an exciting start, when Tayyab Balagamwala and Faisal Butt of the Karachi Patriots started batting in top form. Both of them gave their side a pretty good start and played excellent shots. Tayyab scored 48 runs and Faisal Butt scored 36 runs. Ritchie came in one down and kept the scoreboard by scoring 29 runs. The top batting order was in top form and served their side well in the first innings against the Super Daddy Cricket Club. Usman Yunus Ghani scored an amazing 44 runs, where he hit 4 massive sixes. Aamir Motiwala was the last top order batsman to score a double figure for his side and he played a small innings of 18 runs. Super Daddy Cricket Club tried their best to contain the Karachi Patriots with their strong bowling attack from setting a massive target. Rehan Shaikh was the key bowler of the first innings where he bowled an amazing spell of 2 overs and picked up 2 wickets. Karachi Patriots scored a total of 193 runs in 20 overs.
Shehryar Qadir started off with a boom in the second innings for the Super Daddy Cricket Club. He played an amazing innings by scoring 61 runs off 30 balls for his side. Rehan Shaikh performed well with the bat as well and scored 32 runs. Karachi Patriots were also not giving up and came out with a lethal bowling attack. Wickets kept on falling at different intervals. Maqbool Ahmed and Nadir Akber carried a partnership of 34 runs and that was just about it for the Super Daddy Cricket Club. Sameer Ahmedani bowled an amazing spell of 2 overs picking up 3 wickets. Karachi Patriots bowling attack destroyed the opposition's batting order. Super Daddy Cricket club was bowled out at a total of 172 runs in 19 overs. Karachi Patriots won by 21 runs.
