Karachi Stallions v Falcons
Karachi Stallions and Falcons played the 8th residence cup match at SKBZ cricket ground. Stallions batted first and Shahzad Anwar with 14 runs and Adnan Saleem with 22 runs got them off to a good start. Ahmed Kapadia chipped in with 22 runs but it was Zohaib with 57 off 30 balls who enabled Stallions to end at a competitive 149 for 5 in 20 overs. For Falcons, Ahsan took 2 wickets while Sumair, Imran and Shezad got a wicket each.
In reply, Falcons lost 3 early wickets of Mehmood, Sumair and Shahzad but Fayyaz with 33 and Asher with 13 tried to stabilize the innings however wickets kept falling and Falcons were all out for just 105 runs as Stallions bowlers did not give any leeway to the batsmen. For Stallions, Hassan starred with 4 wickets while Tayyab and Mustafa got 2 wickets and Saad and Rizwan got a wicket each.
Stallions won by 44 runs.
