Bilal Fighters were unable to defeat the Karachi Stallions here at the TMC Ground this past Saturday.
Bilal Fighters batted first and started off well and performed consistently up till the middle order after which the collapse of the batting line-up began. Ali Iqbal scored an impressive 66 from 46 and Fayyaz Hussain Warsi made 33 from 31. They made a 156 in 20 overs for the loss of seven wickets. Naveed and Murtaza Salim took two wickets each while Muhammad Waseem and Waqas Wakeel took one wicket each.
Karachi Stallions were off to a modest start however they really picked up the pace from batsman Muhammad Waseem who made 69 runs from 42 balls and Ajdal Aziz who made 54 from 45. The Karachi Stallions made 157 in 19 overs for the loss of four wickets. Inam Elahi Shamsi and Abdul Waseem A Kareem each took two wickets.
The Karachi Stallions proved too much to handle for the Bilal Fighters and surpassed them in batting and in bowling.
