Karachi Stallions v Team Falcon
Karachi Stallions faced Falcons as part of the 7th residence cup match at SKBZ Cricket Ground. Falcons batted first and could only get 126 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. Jahangir Khan was once again in great form as he got 43 runs off 44 balls in a steady fashion but wickets kept falling at other end on a continuous basis. Shehryar with 24 and Mehmood with 12 put up some resistance but Stallions bowling was excellent and they restricted Falcons to a low score in the end. Saad Dawood got 3 wickets while Asad, Ubaid and Hasrat got a wicket each.
In reply, Stallions lost Shahzad and Adnan early and were struggling at 26 for 2 but Ahmed Kapadia with 44 and Saad Dawood with 36 runs brought them close to the target and Hasrat Nawaz and Hasan finished it off in the 18th over for the loss of 7 wickets. Falcon bowlers did put up a fight but unfortunately could not get the last 3 wickets as Stallions managed to reach the target. For Falcons, Huzaifa got 2 wickets while Ahsan and Imran got a wicket each and there were 3 run outs.
