A match of Legends Cup was played between Super Daddy CC and Khas CC which turned out to be yet another one-sided encounter. Super Daddy batted first and they did a terrible job at the crease. Except for the opener Rehan Shaikh who played a sensible and mature innings of 57 runs, no other batsman from Super Daddy competed with Khan bowlers. Khas bowlers brilliantly did their job and limited opposition to just 102 runs for the loss of 9 wickets. Tauqeer, Hassan and Imran were the most prominent bowlers picking up 2 wickets each.
Khas batsmen did not have much to do as their job was already made easy by their bowlers. They seemed in a hurry and though losing 4 wickets chased the target in 12.3 overs. Afnan and Karim’s innings were most notable in run chase as they scored 37 and 22 runs respectively. Super Daddy bowlers followed their batsmen and continued to get hammered from the opposition. Though Ali Mufti bagged 2 wickets and Shehzad and Abid picked up 1 wicket each, these were of no use as they failed to defend their batsmen’s total which was already a very difficult job to do.
Khas CC won by 6 wickets.
