Khas v OGS
Khas batted first and were off to a fantastic start with openers Hassan (44) and Noman (25) contributing valuable runs with the bat. When the duo was dismissed however the team imploded throwing away their wickets, unable to keep the momentum going or the scoreboard ticking. The team lost 4 quick wickets including 2 ducks before Farhan Iftikhar and Imran Qamar stepped in to stabilize the innings. The duo scored valuable cameos of 37 and 25 respectively to propel their team to a respectable total. Shah Qureshi was the pick of the bowlers, in-form and on fire taking 4 key wickets to rattle the opposition. He was further supported by Nauman who also took 2 wickets. Khas set a target of 173 in 20 overs.
Absolutely nothing went right for OGS in their chase. The team lost their top order for just 5 runs and were reeling at 5/4 at one stage. Hassan Javed was lethal with the ball, picking up 3 wickets for his side. Farhan Nasir joined the party with 2 scalps of his own. None of the OGS batsmen were able to show resistance with Adnan Siddiqui top scoring for their side with 18 runs. OGS were eventually bowled out for 65 runs in 15.2 overs.
Khas won by a massive margin of 108 runs.
