Khas defeated the Wintex Strikers by seven wickets here at the Annu Bhai Park on Tuesday the 26th of March, 2019.
Wintex were off to a moderate with opener Adamjee Tai scoring 32 from 23 and Hasan Sohail scoring 28 from 24. However, this seemed to be the end of their momentum as their batting order started falling quickly and after scoring very few runs. Ultimately, they ended up scoring 122 runs in 18.3 overs for the loss of 10 wickets. Tahir Baksh Illahi took a very impressive three wickets, while Hassan Javed, Amir Nisar, Shiraz Mannah, Haris Tanvir and Saqib Qaiser each took one wicket.
Despite getting off to a slow start, a spectacular innings by Yasir Tanveer who made 53 from 33 remaining not out put Khas right back on track. Adnan Sohail’s impressive 55 from 28 also not out helped push Khas to victory as they made 127 runs in just 12.4 overs for the loss of three wickets. Hasan Sohail and Shahzaib Farooq took one wicket each.
