Khas XI beat the Hush Puppies by 3 wickets, at the TMC Ground this past week.
Hush Puppies batted first and despite some impressive batting from Farhan Iqbal (51 from 46) and Asad Arshad (28 from 32) the poor performance of the rest of the batting order left the team with just 123 in 20 overs for the loss of 9 wickets. Haris Tanvir, Tahir Bakhsh Ilahi and Nabeel Moin kept things tight picking up 2 wickets each while Dawood Akram and Hassan Javed picked up a wicket.
Khas XI were able to chase the target in 18.4 overs for the loss of 7 wickets. Yasir Tanveer was the key striker for his side with 45 from 30 and Junaid Ahmed contributed 20 from 25. Habib Vohra took 3 wickets while Saqib Nisar took 2 and Hasan Alam and Hassan Arshad picked up a wicket each.
Khas XI are through to the final against ENM.
