Khas XI Crowned Champions

Khas XI batted first against ENM at the final of the Benitoz Cricket League with their openers putting up a strong front. Yasir Tanveer knocked a fiery 55 off 45 while Saad Tariq contributed a cameo of 24 runs. The team however lost a few quick wickets before Hassan Ahmed's 22 and Farhan Iftikhar's 20 kept the scoreboard ticking. ENM bowlers did well to keep the pressure on, picking up wickets consistently to keep the opposition contained. Tanveer Ahmed and Yasir Jamil were the key strikers for their side with 2 wickets each while the rest of the unit chipped in. Khas ended at 153 for 8 in 20 overs.

In response, ENM were dismissed for a low 131 runs and were completely outdone by a fantastic display of bowling by the Khas unit. The chasing side were never really in the game with only Kashif Aftab's 26 and Humayun Alamgir's 21 runs showing any intent with the rest of the side simply imploding. Haris Tanvir was outstanding in his spell, picking up 3 wickets while the rest of the unit kept things right.
