Khatri Stags v Khatri Stallions (Semi Final)
Khatri Stags batted first in the all important semi final. The team was off to a horrifying start when they lost opener Atique Ahmed for duck. The team struggled with the bat, losing wickets before they could ever really take off. Shahzad Haroon was the most notable contributor for their side with a valuable knock of 36 runs. Asim Hameed and Shahriyar also scored 20 and 35 runs to help boost their team's total. Stallions bowlers did well to limit the opposition but gave away far too many extras with 24 wides in a t20 match. Farukh Amin and Asad Bandhara picked up 2 wickets each while Osama, Abdul Haie, Abdul Wasiq and Kashif picked up a wicket each. Khatri Stags were bowled out for 164 runs.
Khatri Stallions could not have had a worst day out with the bat. Losing both openers for duck the team were under pressure throughout the innings. Stags bowlers picked away at the opposition, taking wickets at key times to decimate the opposition. Asad Bandhara was the top scorer for their side with 18 runs. The duo of Haseeb were the pick of the bowlers picking up a combined 5 wickets. Shahriyar also picked up 2 wickets. Khatri Stallions were bowled out for only 74 runs in 13.4 overs.
Khatri Stags won the match by 90 runs.
