Kings XI took a well-placed victory against their rivals, Kinara Sports at the Naya Nazimabad Ground last Friday.
Kinara got off to a uncertain start with their opening batsmen falling for duck. The rest of their batting order suffered the same fate, more or less, managing to put up a measly 107 before being al out in 19 overs. Kings XI came out swinging with an opening 51 runs from 31 balls by Owais Arif Sultanpur who had to retreat to the dugout, retired hurt. The damage however had been done and the rest of the batting order for Kings XI eased to the finish in just 13 overs for the loss of 2 wickets. The Kings XI bowlers did a great job with Hashim, Sajid, Sufyan and Owais Arif Sultanpur each taking two wickets and Rameez taking one.
The Kings XI were the better team on this day and proved their superior cricket prowess against Kinara Sports.
