Batting first, Aspa CC were off to a slow start with both openers Rizwan and Shariq failing to reach double figures courtesy the tight bowling of Jam Zain and Muhammad Farooq. However for Aspa CC, Aziz scored a magnificent 28 runs in just 9 balls with 3 fours and 1 huge six to lead his team to a competitive total of 56 runs in 5 overs. For the KK Champs, Muhammad Farooq was the pick of the bowlers taking 2 wickets for 8 runs while Syed M Waqas also took 1 wicket in his 1 over.
The KK Champs were off to a blistering start with both openers smacking the ball to all parts of the ground. Karachi under 16 player Jam Zain was the top scorer, scoring 29 runs of just 11 balls with 2 fours and 3 colossal sixes against his name. Hassan Mustafa supported him with an equally superb knock of 22 runs in 7 balls with the aid of 2 four and 2 sixes. The KK Champs chased down the target of 57 runs in just 3.1 overs.
