Gulshan Strikers batted first and were off to a shaky start losing quick wickets at the top. With a disastrous start, Abdullah and Bilal stepped in to stabilize the innings and lead the recovery. Abdullah scored 13 off 14 balls with 1 four whereas Bilal score 37 off 37 balls with 4 fours and 1 six and was the highest scorer of the innings. Once the duo were dismissed however, Markhors picked up wickets in quick succession to leave Gulshan Strikers in pieces. Hammad was the chief destroyer picking up 3 for just 20 runs whereas Rohan Khalil picked up 2 aswell. The others bowled well also and contributed in a wonderful bowling effort. In the end, Gulshan Strikers could only manage to score 111 in their 20 overs.
In reply, Markhors were also off to a troubled start as they lost 3 quick wickets quite cheaply at the top, Atif picked up 2 and Samad picked up 1 to give their side some hope. Usman and Rohan then started the repair work and tried to rescue the sinking ship with their partnership. Rohan scored 14 off 17 balls whereas Usman scored 37 off 48 balls with 3 fours, their partnership brought some stability back in the innings. Later, Jhangir and Talha made useful contributions lower down the order of 17 and 18 runs respectively to guide their side to a comfortable victory in the end.
Markhors CC won by 5 wickets in 18.3 overs.
