Ridan Warriors went against Rising Stars on 28th November at Gulberg Gymkhana.

Batting first, Warriors posted a mammoth total of 238 runs at the loss of 3 wickets only. Openers Fayyaz Hussain and Anus Jawed gave a momentous start, as they scored 26 and 71 runs respectively. Anus’s innings included 10 fours and a six and was played at a strike rate of 191.98. In addition to this, Ubais Ullah Khan, the one-down batter, smashed 78 off 41. He hit 4 fours and 5 sixes in the innings. The bowlers were deemed clueless, as Afnan Karim thrashed a cameo of 47 runs at a strike rate of 174.07.

Rising Stars opened the chase with Adeel Rizvi and Haji Abdur Rehman. However, they did not get a steady start, as the batter lost wickets 22 runs and a duck respectively. None of the batters were able to contribute significantly in the under pressure situation, as the bowlers continued to dominate. Yaqoob Jan and Adeel Majeed bagged a 3 wicket haul each. In addition to this, Ubais took 2 wickets while Shahzaib Farooq dismissed a batter.

Hence, Rising Stars were restricted to a score of 109 runs in 18 overs at the loss of 9 wickets. As a result, Ridan Warriors emerged victorious.
