Shaddan Enterprises batted first against Fakhar e Kutiyana but struggled to really get going at any stage. With the exception of opener Hamza Anwar who knocked an impressive 62 off 53, none of the other batters were able to effectively contribute. The team continued to lose wickets and Fakhar’s bowlers did well to contain the opposition and keep the pressure on throughout the innings. Shaddan Enterprises ended at 132 for 5 in 20 overs. Abdullah Aziz and Yasin Qudus picked up 2 wickets each in their spell.

In response, Fakhar’s batters struggled to chase down the modest total and almost fell short. The team had a similar outing with the bat, getting off to some decent starts but losing wickets consistently throughout the innings. Abdul Razzak’s 33 at the top and Umair Budhani’s valuable 30 not out later in the innings helped their side to win with 1 ball to spare. Plenty of drama in the match with 3 run outs and Junaid Jaffar picking up a couple of wickets. Fakhar-e-Kutiyana chased down the target in 19.5 overs.
