Mavericks CC beat the Gulshan Becks by five wickets, at the Eidgah Ground this past Tuesday.
Gulshan Becks batted first and thanks to a superb performance by Jibran Rufi (42 from 34) they were able to push the total to 118 in 16.1 overs for the loss of 10 wickets. The rest of the batting order could not deliver and hence they were not able to score very high. Muhammad Khuzaima was responsible for taking five wickets thanks to some brilliant spells. Sami Ur Rehman, Ammad, Muhammad Shahrukh, Muhammad Faizan and Adnan Khan Niazi took one wicket each.
The Mavericks made short work of the total and made 120 runs in 16 overs for the loss of five wickets. Irfan Shah's 46 from 36 helped tip the scales in the favor of the Mavericks. Syed Zain Ali took two wickets while Tanzeel Iqbal, Kamran Siddique and Abdul Hasan took one wicket each.
