Royal United batted first and were off to a decent enough start. Ashir and Zeeshan utilized the early overs well and scored some good runs at top of the innings. Ashir scored 12 at run a ball whereas Zeeshan scored 27 off just 18 balls. After the dismissal of openers, Royal United completely lost their way as Memon XI came back roaring in the match. Umer was the chief destroyer with 3 wickets whereas Ghuffran and Hamza picked up 2 each to leave Royal United in pieces. It was a sorry looking scorecard for Royal United as they were bundled out for just 115.
The chase was off to a fantastic start. The openers knew that they were not after a big score so they took their time and scored crucial runs. Abdul Samad scored 18 off 28 whereas Osama scored 32 off 35 balls. After the openers, couple more wickets fell cheaply and it was a nervous time for Memon XI but Mehmood and Rafiq stabilized the innings again with their partnership as they scored 11 and 16 respectively. The bowlers tried their heart out but the target was not enough as Memon XI chased down the target in 18.3 overs.
Memon XI won by 5 wickets.
