Bayer Pakistan batted first & were off to the worst possible start loosing 3 wickets inside the powerplay. NBP Aittemad’s bowlers capitalized on this start & didn’t let the batting side make a comeback. The batsmen struggled to stay on the crease for a long time. The bowlers dominated throughout the innings & batsmen had no answers. Wickets were tumbling at a fast pace courtesy an extra ordinary bowling performance from Muhammad Fahad. He blew away the opposition with his bowling, picking up 6 wickets in 2.1 over & giving away only 3 runs. Bayer Pakistan were bowled out for just 54 runs in 11.1 overs.
NBP Aittemad came in to chase this total & were off to a shaky start as they lost 3 wickets cheaply in the powerplay. Sher Muhammad & Haris Khalid started to build a partnership but that was broken quickly & 2 wickets fell in quick succession after that but the bowling side didn’t have enough runs on the board to put pressure on NBP Aittemad’s batsmen. Sher Muhammad was the top scorer with 18 runs & NBP Aittemad chased down this target comfortably in just 8 overs. Omer Hussain & Ahsan Mirza picked up 2 wickets but it was too little too late.
