Naakians v Super Daddy Cricket Club
Naakians batted first losing their top order cheaply. The team lost wickets in quick succession before Zulfiqar, Umair, Muzammil and Noman all stepped in to stabilize the innings and contribute valuable runs with the bat. They scored a combined 111 runs to pull their team back in the game. Super Daddy's bowlers were in-form, bowling good line and length to restrict the opposition. Shehzad Meher was key, taking 3 wickets for his side. Naakians set a target of 165 in 20 overs.
Super Daddy CC struggled with the bat unable to capitalize on some decent starts. The chasing side were losing wickets regularly with Shehryar Qadir and Manna Khan being the most notable contributors with the bats. They scored 27 and 35 runs respectively to give their team a fighting chance. They received little support on the other end with Naakians bowlers proving lethal with the ball. Zakir took 2 wickets with the rest of the bowling unit keeping things tight to stop the flow of runs. Super Daddy CC were limited to 158 runs in 20 overs.
