NBPians started of slow but picked up the pace towards the lower batting order. They made 124 in 20 overs for the loss of nine wickets. Raheel Hussain made 19 runs from 23 balls to start the innings. National Foods were focused on keeping the scoreboard ticking right of the bat, with opener Arif Khan making 26 from 26. Ali Nasir's 12 from 23 and Irfan Khan's 21 from 24 provided some ray of hope for National Foods but that is where their efforts were stopped as the rest of the batting order failed to deliver.
