DSA CC batted first against Nendo Fashion in an all important quarter Final of 18th Challengers Cup. Opener Ameer Raza Khan gave a dream start to his team. He hammered each and every bowler of opposition and played a stupendous knock of 87 runs. One-down Mirza Shoaib further propelled his side towards a good and competitive total of 169. He smashed 49 runs. The bowlers of Nendo Fashion though picking up wickets in regular intervals, failed to control their economies. Zahid claimed 3 wickets while Umar and Anas picked up 2 wickets each.
In reply, Nendo Fashion lost their openers soon as they went to play some big shots to keep up with the required pace. But then one-down Ali took the responsibility on his shoulders and played a momentous knock of 62 runs in 49 deliveries. Anas Ahmed then further boosted his side towards victory and scored some substantial 39 runs. DSA CC then tried to make a comeback in the match. They picked up some back to back wickets and dragged the match towards the last wicket and the last ball. But it did not turn out to be their day as the game slipped off their hands on just the last delivery. Shehzad and Fahad were the prominent bowlers from DSA CC picking up 2 wickets each.
Nendo Fashion won by 1 wicket.
