Amreli XI v Blasters
Amreli XI played Blasters at New Navy Karsaz ground. Amreli batted first and were off to a good start as Noman knocked an impressive 73 runs which included 10 boundaries. One down batsman Kamran Gill kept the scoreboard ticking with his innings of 49 off just 25 balls which included 4 boundaries and 3 sixes. Blasters pulled back the run flow but Samad Mallah with 24 off 17 ensured Amreli ended at 205 for 8 at the end of their innings. Saad Khamisani starred with the ball picking up 4 wickets while Mahmood, Mustafa and Bilal got a wicket each.
In reply, Blasters lost opener Aatir Shahid early after he had scored 8 runs but Umair with 14 and Umar Ghazi with 39 kept the scoreboard ticking. Taimoor Butt with 16, Saad with 28 and Bilal with 26 tried to take their team to victory but fell short in the end as their valiant fight ended at 184 all out. For Amreli, Kamran, Abdur Rahman and Talha took 2 wickets each while Farhan, Imtiaz, Umair and Shayan got a wicket each.
Amreli XI won by 21 runs.
