OGS played against Unfit Legends in a friendly game at Moin Khan Stadium. Legends won the toss and decided to bat first. They were in trouble as opener Taha and one down batsman Abid Butt were both dismissed for duck while Jamil was dismissed for just 6 runs. The team struggled throughout the innings with wickets tumbling against some good line and length bowling by OGS bowlers and Hamza also scored a duck while Atif Ahmed was removed by an excellent off spinner from OGS, captain Tariq Bin Aijaz after he had scored 25 runs. For Legends, Asad Hussain remained adamant and kept scoring from one end despite the pressure of the fall of early wickets and eventually he ended as the highest scorer with 47 runs while Khawaja Obaid got 16 runs as Unfit Legends were all out for 120 runs. For OGS, Faisal, Tariq and Fahad Bin Aijaz took 2 wickets each while Khurram, Shahan and Salman butt picked up a wicket each.
In reply, OGS lost opener Arshid for just 2 runs and Tayyab R Balagamwala followed after scoring 9 runs. Daud with a quick fire 26 runs off 15 balls, Faizaan with 13 runs and Salman Butt with 16 runs ensured some stability to the innings before Khurram Jamali and Faisal mirza with 18 runs each ensured that OGS reached home for the loss of 7 wickets with 11 balls to spare. For Legends, Shamoun Ilyas was the key wicket taker with 3 scalps while Shams Arfeen took 2 wickets and Asad and Moin got a wicket each. Legends fought back well despite a low score but in the end, it was OGS who came out as the eventual victors.
OGS won by 3 wickets.
