The OGS came up head to head with the Super Star CC in a day 4 encounter of the 3rd edition of the KK Super Sixes being held at the UBL Sports Complex.
OGS, after opting to bat first, were off to a flying start with opener Adnan Siddiqui scoring a rapid 35 runs in just 9 balls with the aid of 2 fours and 3 huge sixes. Teammate Talha Faheem also played an impressive innings of 36 runs in 9 balls with 4 boundaries and 3 massive sixes to his name. OGS ended their quota of 5 overs at a breath taking total of 99 runs for the loss of 2 wickets. Shehzad Naiz was the lone wicket taker for the Super Star CC.
The Super Star CC began their chase in a rather shaky manner with none of the top 3 batsmen reaching double figures. Jahangir Khan was the only batsmen to show any sort of resistance with 13 ball knock of 15 runs with 1 four and a six. The OGS bowlers dominated throughout with Raza Hasan taking 3 wickets for just 2 runs in his one over. Umer Khan supported him by scalping a wicket for 6 runs. The Super Star CC could only manage 45 runs in 5 overs for the loss of 4 wickets.
OGS won the match by a large margin of 54 runs.
