Okhai Friends Cricket Team won in dominating fashion against Taheri CC this past Sunday at the PSC.
Taheri CC batted first and seemed to be doing quite well up till the third batsman. Openers Taha Qadi scored 22 runs from 13 balls and Murtaza Kappo made 35 from 17. Mustansir Ashraf made 49 from 35. Their momentum halted here as the rest of the batting order fell quickly and the team managed to put up 148 runs in 18.4 overs for the loss of 10 wickets. Okhai Friends bowler Ahmed Sharjeel took a very impressive four wickets, while Asad Ullah took three and Imran Muhammadi and Mohsin Haneef took one each.
Okhai Friends made very quick work of the target, making 149 runs in 13.3 overs for the loss of just two wickets. Opener Ahmed Sharjeel made 35 from 17, Faizan Malik made a very impressive 81 from just 48 balls which helped their team easily chase the total. Ammar Shabbir and Hussain Tasaduq took one wicket each.
Okhai Friends proved their batting or bowling was definitely not to be messed with.
