Karachi Fighters faced Okhai Memon Jamaat in this low scoring fixture of the 15th Challengers Cup. Karachi Fighters batted first and were off to a shaky start. Batsmen found it difficult to score runs and burried themselves in a self created pressure. Faizan Ur Rehman and Qaiser were the only two batsmen who managted to reach double figure scores. Shahid Jiwani was the pick of the bowlers as he picked 4 wickets for 20 runs. Karachi Fighters were all out for just 84 runs.
It was never a difficult job to chase such a low target but a shaky performance by the middle order made the match interesting. Majeed Pasta and Shakir Serang started the innings for Okhai Memon Jmaat, and scored 21 and 10 runs respectively. A decent bowling performance by Hassan UR Rehman and Zeeshan Ahmed brought Krachi Fighters back into the game. Hassan Ur Rehman took 3 wickets while Zeeshan took 2 wickets for just 4 runs. But the batsman gave nothing to the bowlers to defend and Okhai Memon Jmaat chased the target in the 12th over. The match was won my Okhai Memon Jamaat by 4 wickets.
