The Okhai Panthers beat the Okhai Spartans in dominating fashion, here at the RLCA on Sunday the 14th of April.
The Okhai Panthers batted first and started off well. They performed consistently and managed to keep the scoreboard ticking. Shakir Suleman Ghaziani made a very impressive 65 from just 38 deliveries and helped the team make 167 in 18 overs for the loss of four wickets. The Spartans bowled poorly and conceded 30 extra runs. Imran Muhammadi, Jamil Ghaziani and Musaib Jaffrani took one wicket each.
The Okhai Spartans were off to a good start but could not follow through and their middle and lower batting order could not produce a good performance and they succumbed to just 71 runs scored in 13.2 overs before the whole team was out. Naeem Ali Vayani took a very impressive four wickets while Hassan Rasheed Mamdani took two.
