Okhai Sharks beat Okhai United by eight wickets this past Sunday, at the RLCA Gulberg.
Okhai United batted first and were off to a slow start as their opening batsmen were only able to score a cumulative 13 runs. Usman Ghani Jafrani attempted to revive their fighting spirit but he only managed 39 from 32. The rest of the batting order was not able to make a significant contribution to the scoreboard and they were only able to make 120 in 18.5 overs before being all out. Mohsin Saleem took an impressive three wickets while Sumair Haroon Gaba and Sufyan Karar took two and Ahmed Pasta and Abdul Qadir Jafrani took one.
Okhai Sharks made quick work of the target by making it in just 14.1 overs for the loss of two wickets. Opener Rauf Barai made an impressive 47 from 34 and Sufyan Karar (not out) made 44 from 40 to help their team cinch an early win. Abdul Wahab Razzak and Abdul Rauf Punjwani took one wicket each.
