Pigeons opener Ali Rainbow continued his form with a blistering half century that set the team up well. However the team continued to lose wickets on the other end with Falcons bowlers doing well to keep the pressure on. 2 run outs and a flurry of quick wickets had the Pigeons reeling at one stage before Juzer Parekh stepped in to save his side. His 40 off 28 were key in helping Pigeons reach a respectable total of 153 for 8 in 20 overs. For Falcons, Aamir Hussain and Abid Ali were the key wicket takers, picking up 2 scalps each.
In response, Falcons were simply a class apart. The chasing side were simply unstoppable with Mustansir Saifuddin's match winning 74 all but sealing the victory for his side. Idrees Cementwala also scored 36 and Ammar Muhammad contributed 32 as Orange Falcons cruised to the finish line in 16.1 overs. Pigeons bowlers were simply ineffective.
