Dubai Hawks batted first against Dolphins CC with their line up stumbling to keep their wickets intact. After losing opener Afaq for just 4 runs, the team continued to lose a flurry of cheap wickets with only Noman Shahid's 16 and Usama Zubair's 15 being of any significance. It was the number 10 batsmen however who surprised everyone as Khalid Kaka smashed a valuable 47 off 24 to boost his team to a modest but respectable 127 for 9 in 20 overs. Dolphins bowlers were lethal against the opposition with Farhan leading the attack, taking 3 wickets in his spell. Sayyam and Anas also took 2 wickets each.
In response, Dolphins CC were decimated by an unbelievable display of bowling by the Hawks unit. With the exception of Zubair Dilawar's 21, the rest of the batting line up were dismissed in single digits. Owais was outstanding in his spell, taking 5 wickets for just 8 runs. Daniyal Liaquat followed it up with 2 wicket for just 11 while the rest of the unit chipped in to bowl out Dolphins CC for 77 in 17 overs.
Dubai Hawks won by 50 runs.
