Benitoz Panthers played against Gigi Gladiators at TMC cricket ground as part of the Memon Super League (MSL). Panthers won the toss and batted first and lost Mohib Ahsan for 5 runs. Ali Mehar with 35 runs and Suleman Saleem with 59 runs stabilized the innings and Shaaz Shajani scored 20 runs to get Benitoz Panthers to a competitive 150 for the loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs. For Gladiators, Ejaz Shah, Afzal Gigi, Daniyal Gigi and Maroof Aziz took a wicket each.
In reply, Gladiators lost star opener Ejaz Shah for 11 runs but Shakir Serang was in prime form as he got 42 runs off just 17 balls and hit the ball all around the park. Owais Rehmani then got an aggressive 74 off just 44 deliveries as Gladiators raced home with more than 4 overs to spare and for the loss of just 3 wickets. For Panthers, Shaaz Shajani took 2 wickets and Asadullah picked up a wicket.
