PAF Kiet University batted first and were off to a bumpy start as they lost wickets cheaply at the top. It was a big setback to their plans and they had to work on stabilizing the innings. Nabeel Arif played a much-needed innings in the middle order and scored a very crucial 37 runs to save his side from a complete mess. He got quite little support at the other end. The wickets were falling in a heap but few good partnerships down the order gave some breathing space to PAF Kiet University team. Arqum Khan scored 17 whereas Haider and Shah scored 11 and 13 respectively. The bowlers did a fantastic job in restricting the opposition, Faizan Khan picked up 4 wickets for just 23 runs and was the most notable contributor whereas Asil Jalal also bowled splendidly well and picked up 3 for 13. The most disappointing thing for the bowling side was the number of extras they conceded, the wicket keeper specifically had an off day and he conceded 24 byes. In the end, PAF Kiet University managed to score 144.
IBA B were chasing a modest score but they made a complete mess of the total. PAF Kiet University bowlers bowled brilliantly right from the start and unlike IBA B bowlers they conceded much less extras which gave them advantage in defending this low score. Huzaifa Siraj was the pick of the bowlers with 4 scalps for just 9 runs whereas Shah Alam picked up 3. The batting side was never really in the game. IBA B were outplayed by the better side on the day. IBA B were bundled out for just 78 in 16.5 overs.
PAF KIET University won by 66 runs.
