Gigi Gladiators faced Benitoz Panthers at Asghar Ali Shah stadium as part of the Memon Super League Season 2. Gladiators batted first and opener Shakir Serang was out after scoring 14 runs. Adnan Salim was the next batsmen dismissed after scoring 20 runs while top batsman Atif Ahmed scored 29 runs. After that none of the other batsmen contributed anything significant and squandered the decent start as Gladiators could only get to 99 runs for the loss of 7 wickets at the end of 20 overs. For Panthers, Asad Bashir got 3 wickets while Danish Aziz took 2 wickets and Hamza Qadir and Madni Waqas Raja picked up a wicket each.
In reply, Panthers lost Rameez Mehboob who was out for a duck and Aamir Motiwala was out after having scored only 10 runs. However, Ahmed Arshad with 21 runs, Hamza Qadir with 29 runs and Danish Aziz with an unbeaten 25 runs ensured that Panthers were home with 3 overs to spare and qualified for the knockout round. For Gladiators, Maroof Aziz took 2 wickets while Rabish and Adnan Ghazi got a wicket each.
