Patriots batted first and Hasan Mehmood with 31 runs and Salman Sanghani with 25 runs got them off to a good start. Talha Faheem with 17 runs, Ghazanfar Richie with 23 runs and Adeel Iqbal Sabuwala with 40 runs ensured Patriots ended at a competitive 146 for 3 in 20 overs. For Titans, Abdul Samad took 2 wickets and Owais Pasta picked up a wicket.
In reply, Titans lost Ameer Raza for 19 and Ahmed Hussain for 14 runs. Wickets continued to tumble with the only notable contributions being 16 by Owais Pasta and 13 by Khalid Gaba and Titans were reduced to 97 for 9. Waqar Saleem and Abdul Samad had a 33 run last wicket partnership to bring Titans close but could not finish the job and Titans ended at 130 for 9 in 20 overs. For Patriots, Rehan Hanif, Hunain Usman and Adeel Abbasi took 2 wickets each while Hasan Mehmood and Imran Idrees got a wicket each.
