Perceptions v Haseen Habib
Perceptions and Haseen Habib faced each other in a one sided encounter at South End Club. Haseen Habib batted first and had a dismal day as the team crumbled to 101 all out. Only Imaduddin with 27 runs and Ansar Mushtaq with 24 runs showed some grit and determination but unfortunately could not convert a good start into a big score. For Perceptions, Ali Maher, Umer Farooq and Amir got 2 wickets each while Ali Jasim and Fahad Jabbar took 1 wicket each.
Defending a low total was never going to be easy for Haseen Habib as run machine Fahad Jabbar Memon ploughed into the bowling and got 45 runs not out while Mazhar scored 32 runs. Despite two consecutive ducks, nothing could deter the chasing side and eventually Abid's cameo of 17* helped Perceptions race home in 16.4 overs for the loss of just 3 wickets. For Haseen Habib, Fawad, Ansar and Waseem took 1 wicket each.
