Cocoon Home batted first against SVTB at the Karachi Masters League with Shoaib Akther and Suleman Saleem being the only 2 notable players for their side. Shoaib knocked 33 while Suleman contributed 32 with the rest of the batsmen throwing away their wickets cheaply. Mamoon Imtiaz was the key wicket taker for his side, causing maximum damage picking up 4 wickets while Sameer, Salman and Afzal picked up a wicket each. With 3 run outs in the side, Cocoon Home were dismissed for a low 135.
In response, SVTB lost Talha Ahmedani for duck and were a complete mess after that. With the exception of Fauz Ul Hasan's 34 and Adeel Abbasi's 27, the chasing side imploded, unable to keep their wickets intact or the scoreboard ticking. Cocoon bowlers kept things tight, picking up wickets regularly to maintain pressure. Waleed Azim was outstanding in his spell of 3 for 16 while Rana Aijaz also picked up 3 wickets, giving only 9 runs away. Suleman Saleem also took 2 wickets as SVTB were dismissed for 115 in 18.2 overs.
Cocoon Home won by 20 runs.
