Cocoon Home batted first against Super Daddy CC in an exciting match of Legends Cup. The highlight of the innings was Ram Ravi who smashed a blistering ton. He made 100 off 58 and remained unbeaten. Before him, opener Azhar Khan gave a fine start to the team and played a sensible innings of 42 runs. Maeez waqar’s 34 runs further propelled his side towards a good total and the batting team ended up on 216 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Super Daddy bowlers were completely outclassed by Cocoon batsmen and they failed to control the flow of runs. The highest wicket taker among them was Ali Mufti picking up 2 wickets.
The bowlers of Cocoon Home continued ripping the opposition apart from where their batsmen had left. They did not give a single chance to the opposition to play on the front-foot. Hasan Shahab was the most prominent bowler in this regard who showed 3 batsmen their way to the pavilion. Maeez and Badar’s 2 wickets each also played a role in bowling Daddies out for 139 runs in 19.2 overs. Super Daddy batsmen seemed too amateur to face Cocoon bowling. Except for Adeel Mansha who made 34 runs and Ali and Taha who made 26 runs each, nobody from Super Daddy resisted much on the crease.
Cocoon Home won by 77 runs.
